Lauren Liebert Physical Therapist PT, DPT, CERT-DN
Lauren graduated with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Nevada Las Vegas in 2020. She gained her passion for Physical Therapy through her own injuries and growing up with a mom who is an Occupational Therapist. Lauren has obtained her Trigger Point Dry Needling Certification, which allows her to provide myofascial pain relief. Her approach as a therapist includes a combination of manual therapy and specific exercises to allow for a full, functional recovery. When she is not a PT, Lauren enjoys being outdoors, hiking, paddle boarding, and playing basketball.

Kasey Dunn Operations Manager
Kasey has grown in the physical therapy field for over 20 years. He is currently the Operations Manager and enjoys the challenges and experiences the position has to offer. His appreciation for teamwork and management has allowed him to grow in this role.
Stefanie Cooke Front Desk Manager
The front desk manager at Galena Sport Physical Therapy works in tandem with the operations manager to ensure administrative duties at the front desk are done timely. This position monitors and trains other front desk staff to produce optimum scheduling, and on-time payment from patients, and patient transition through therapy are seamless. Stefanie has a passion for helping every patient who walks through our doors.

Sarah Stalling Technician Manager
Sarah was born and raised in Carson City, NV. Sarah attended college in Eugene Oregon, playing soccer and receiving her B.S. in Exercise Science from Northwest Christian University. After she completed her bachelor's, she played two seasons of semi-pro, one with the Portland Rain, and one with the San Francisco Nighthawks in the Women’s Professional Soccer League (WPSL). Between her college and Semi-Pro seasons, Sarah was invited to the Boston Breakers combine, which is a women's professional soccer team. While applying to PT school, Sarah enrolled in a Master’s program and graduated with her M.S. in Sports and Health Sciences in 2016 from American Public University in West Virginia. She diverted her plans and was able to use her knowledge and skill set to become the Technician Manager for us. When she is not managing and scheduling the techs, she is working on the floor as a tech, as well as covering at the front desk when needed. When she is not working for the company, you will find Sarah hiking around the area with her dog Zeus, paddleboarding up in Tahoe, reading a book, or entertaining her daughter. Sarah has since retired from playing soccer after several knee surgeries; she decided mobility was more important.

Jennifer Barrett Physical Therapist/Owner MPT, CSCS, BASI certified Pilates instructor, CERT-DN
Jennifer has been in the field of physical therapy for nearly 15 years. She graduated at the top of her class with a Masters in Physical Therapy from Chapman University where she acted as class president, a peer mentor, and an anatomy tutor. Jennifer is also a Certified Pilates Instructor and a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist. She has worked at several renowned orthopedic and sports medicine clinics in both Northern Nevada and Orange County California. In 2009 she completed a year-long orthopedic manual therapy course. She specializes in sports medicine and post-surgical rehabilitation and emphasizes the biomechanics behind an injury. Jenn’s philosophy is centered upon providing the highest level of personalized care for each patient who walks through the door.

Daniel Krist Physical Therapist PT, DPT
Daniel graduated with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Nevada Las Vegas in 2020. Daniel gained his passion for physical therapy through his own injuries and going through PT himself. He loved the process and seeing people get back to doing the things they love again. His interests outside of PT include climbing, hiking, and any outdoor activities.
Darcy Flint Physical Therapist PT. DPT
Darcy has been in the physical therapy field for nearly 15 years. She graduated with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Chapman University and recently moved to Reno from Orange County to be closer to family. Her interest in PT began in high school when she would take her mom to her physical therapy appointments for a rotator cuff repair, which then led her to become an aid in college and get hands-on experience working with patients. From that point on, she knew she would pursue a career in PT. Darcy has specialized in Orthopedics, and she is passionate about working with the elderly population. Previously certified as a CrossFit and mobility coach, she has a broad background in various exercise training. Darcy’s approach as a therapist includes providing her patients with a combination of manual therapy along with functional strength training exercises to allow for a full level of functional return. When she is not working as a PT, she enjoys any type of exercise, being outdoors, and spending time with her husband and three kids.

Trevor Preece Physical Therapist Assistant PTA
Trevor Preece is one of our physical therapist assistants. He grew up in Elko, NV. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Physiology from BYUI in Rexburg, ID. He then went on to complete an associate's degree to be a Physical Therapist Assistant at the Institute of Technology in Redding, CA. He spent two years in Argentina, where he studied and learned the Spanish language, which he now applies in the clinic to aid those that need it. Trevor started his collegiate career playing college soccer at Waldorf college for a year and has coached JV high school soccer in his hometown during undergraduate programs. He is currently pursuing other forms of education in regards to Myofascial Decompression, and other manual interventions to better aid in patient recovery. Some activities he enjoys are continuing to play soccer, spending time outdoors, hiking, camping, fishing, hunting, hanging out with family and friends, playing with his doggo, and being a master smoker on the grill.

Meginn Taylor Physical Therapist Assistant PTA
Meginn Taylor is one of our physical therapist assistants. Meginn treats a broad range of diagnoses including spine, orthopedic, and other musculoskeletal conditions. After completing her clinical with us at San Juan College, she eas hired on as a full-time PTA.

Melissa Preece Lead Physical Therapist PT, DPT, CERT-DN
Melissa graduated with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Texas Tech University Health Science Center in Lubbock, TX in 2017. Being a Northern Nevada native, she knew that Reno was only place she would love to start the PT career. Melissa has obtained her Certifications in Trigger Point Dry Needling and Instrumental Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization, which allow her to provide myofascial pain relief and proper muscle function. She has a passion in providing her patients with a combination of manual therapy along with specific exercise to allow for a full, functional recovery. When she is not being a PT she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, playing with her dogs, traveling, hiking, camping, playing soccer, craft projects, and having dance parties.

Hayley Poland Physical Therapist PT, DPT, ATC,CERT-DN
Hayley graduated from Emory & Henry College with her Doctorate in Physical Therapy. Born and raised in Richmond, VA, she has relocated to Reno to experience the west coast. Hayley gained her passion for physical therapy from her love of sports, health, and previous experiences as a Certified Athletic Trainer. Her current focus is a manual-based approach accompanied by education on how movement through exercise can help restore function and reduce pain. Currently, she is certified in Dry Needling with hopes to continue her certifications, focusing on orthopedic care. Her interests outside of the clinic include playing soccer, snowboarding, and hiking.

Emily Burns Physical Therapist PT, DPT, CERT-DN, 3D-Maps, CAFS
Emily is a native Nevadan, born and raised in the Reno area. She graduated from the University of Nevada, Reno in 2016 with a Bachelor’s degree in Community Health Sciences – Kinesiology. While in Nevada, she participated as a member of the Nevada Women’s Basketball Team and then went on to play for the USA All-Star Women’s Team in the 2015 Atlas Four National Women’s Basketball Tournament in China. Shortly after, she earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of the Pacific. Emily has experience working with a variety of patient populations and enjoys treating patients from across the lifespan as each presents with an individual and unique set of challenges. She loves meeting new people and enjoys helping them accomplish their goals no matter how big or small. In her spare time, you can find Emily spending time outdoors, snowboarding, reading a book, or at a concert!

Jeanine Seewald Physical Therapist Assistant PTA
Jeanine is our physical therapist assistant. She graduated with a Bachelors in Science from UNR, obtained her RYT yoga teacher certification, then went to San Juan Community College for an Associates degree to be a Physical Therapist Assistant. She continued her movement education in Pilates. She enjoys hiking, running, kayaking, skiing, snowshoeing and in general enjoying the great outdoors with her family and pups.
