Odin is undoubtedly the most popular member of the staff. He is a youthful 15 year old Australian Shepard. In fact the vet thought he was 2, he’s in such good shape. Kasey has had him since a puppy and has done an impeccable job of training him as a therapy dog. Outside of sleeping his primary duties include: greeting patients, babysitting children while parents receive treatment, and putting a smile on everyone’s face. He also performs walker work with our elderly patients. He will walk alongside the patient offering encouragement as we get them up and moving around. Although it is rare, if a patient is allergic or frightened of dogs Odin takes his break in a separate room while they are present. He understands and takes no offense.
