Cinco de Mayo inspired Carne Asada
This carne asada marinade is packed with all the essential flavors. It’s zesty, spicy, and refreshing. All you do is whisk everything together and place it in the refrigerator. Enjoy!
1 lb carne asada
⅓ cup olive oil
3 limes, juiced
4 garlic cloves, minced
1 teaspoon cumin powder
½ teaspoon chili powder
Salt and pepper to taste
1. Whisk all the ingredients together in a small bowl.
2. Place the steak in a glass or ceramic baking tray and pour the marinade on top, making sure both sides are well coated. Then cover the tray with plastic wrap and marinate for 1-4 hours in the fridge.
3. Once you’re ready to cook it either place it on the bbq or air fry it, Melissa air-fried hers, and it was amazing.
4. Voila, you should have one tasty steak!
